Three Counties, Very Different Weddings
The Lothians wrap around Edinburgh, but the weddings out here have their own character. East Lothian has links golf courses, beaches and big skies around North Berwick, Gullane, Dunbar and Haddington. Midlothian has wooded estates and castle venues around Dalkeith, Lasswade and Roslin. West Lothian has Linlithgow, with its palace and loch, and plenty of hotel and country-house venues around Livingston and Bathgate.
Many Lothians venues are former estates and steadings with a separate barn or marquee for the evening. They usually have space for a proper Strip the Willow, but it's worth checking power, flooring and where the band sets up before the day.
It's about 40 miles from the band's Perth base to the middle of the Lothians, over the Queensferry Crossing for West Lothian and round the city bypass for the east. Everything from Linlithgow to Dunbar, including Dalkeith and Penicuik, is inside the free-travel area.
Coastal East Lothian venues can be breezy in the evening, so a sheltered spot for the kit and a short carry from the van make setup quicker. We go over that with your venue in advance.

- Every package includes full PA, atmospheric lighting, setup and pack-down, and a microphone for the speeches.
- Packages cover up to 4 hours of performance unless agreed otherwise. Extra hours are £120 per hour.
- Travel is free within 100 miles of Perth, which takes in Dundee, Fife, Stirling, Edinburgh, the Lothians, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Ayrshire, the Borders, Aberdeen and Dumfries & Galloway as far west as Kirkcudbright. Further out, a contribution for mileage, travel time and any overnight stay is quoted up front.
